Dimitri is a leading authority and globally recognised expert in macroeconomics, sustainability, climate change and innovation. He has extensive experience advising senior officials in government, finance, and business, and has published widely. Previous roles include nearly ten years as Head of Economic Forecasting at HM Treasury in charge of the UK government’s economic forecast, Head of Policy at the Grantham Research Institute at the LSE, Chief Economist for the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate, and lead author of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change.
